My Last Water Bill Was Alot Higher Than Normal, Could I have a Leak?

You may have a plumbing leak if . . .

1.You hear the continuous sound of water (like a toilet running, etc.) when nothing is turned on.
2.Your water bill is high due to meter reading changes when you aren't using any water.
3.Your walls or floors are wet, spongy, moist or you see discolored areas where nothing has been spilled.
4.You smell foul odors coming from floors or walls near drains or sewers.
5.You see building foundation cracks, vegetation grows unevenly, or earth shifts for no apparent reason.
6.You feel warm spots on your floor, particularly on concrete slab floors.

If any of these signs occur, contact your plumber to do a leak search. Once the leak search is performed and the leak is found it can be repaired and your water bill should go back to normal within 1-2 billing cycles.
